The club plans to enter a number of tournaments throughout the year, competing in student, open and mixed events, both indoors and out. Semester 1 starts with the beginner events so all new players get a really good feel for the game and what an Ultimate tournament is all about. These are followed by the student Open and Mixed Indoor Regionals and then, with any luck, Nationals. November sees the start of Winter League, an open league spanning four events. This is a great opportunity to play against some of the best teams in the region and if you can play well in the wind, rain and snow, you'll be awesome come the summer! The main events for Semester 2 are the student Open and Mixed Outdoor competitions as well as Womens Indoor and Outdoor Nationals, assuming we have enough ladies to enter a team. And, of course, Varsity. Results in all non-UKUA events (e.g. winter league or friendlies) go toward the club's standing in the regional and national Ladder Leagues .
